After serving in the U.S. Air Force Joseph and Kimberley Friesenhahn returned to Kim's home state along with their children in order to live a simple life in rural Vermont. In 2017 we purchased a small 30+ acre property and set out to restore the once-thriving sheep pasture into a regenerative silvopature for our livestock.
We don't mind getting our hands dirty growing our food so, we jumped at the opportunity to raise our own food and share it with the community.
We believe in taking time to do things right, taking good care of animals, including those that end up on your dinner plate. We have a passion to know where our food comes from and learn the art behind caring for our animals which, results in premium products such as raw milk and hand-crafted milk soap for our customers.
Located in the Upper Valley area of Vermont, our farmstead is nestled near the base of Mount Ascutney, in Windsor, Vermont.
Check out our animal pages to learn more about our Irish Dexter cows, miniature nubian and nigerian dwarf goats, as well as our assortment of ducks, chickens, and occasional piggies.
